After you book, we send you e-mails about your appointment. In the pbw.life app you also get push notifications. The e-mails contain a link to manage your booking without signing in.
The first e-mail
The first e-mail depends on the studio:
- The studio confirms bookings by hand: you get a “request received” e-mail. When the studio confirms, you get a short “appointment confirmed” e-mail.
- The booking is confirmed at once: you get a confirmation e-mail with a calendar file and a Manage booking link.
- The studio asks for a deposit: you get an e-mail with a link to pay. After you pay, you get a confirmation e-mail with a calendar file and a Manage booking link.
The e-mails are in the language you used when you booked. They come from DoNotReply@pbw.life. Replies to this address are not delivered. To contact the studio, use the studio’s own contact details.
Reminders
We send reminder e-mails before your appointment:
- 48 hours before the start;
- 24 hours before the start.
Each reminder has a calendar file and a Manage booking link. With the 24-hour reminder you also get a push notification in the pbw.life app.
Push notifications reach you only in the pbw.life app, when you are signed in with the e-mail address you booked with and you allowed notifications. The e-mails are the main channel.
If you book less than 48 hours ahead, you get only the reminders whose time has not passed yet. The studio can switch reminders off.
If you move your appointment, the reminders move with it. If you cancel, the reminders stop.
Other messages
- On my way or Running late: on the day of the appointment, the specialist can tell you they are on the way or will be late. You get an e-mail and a push notification.
- Changes: you get an e-mail when your appointment is moved or cancelled.
- Review: after a completed appointment you get an e-mail that asks how your appointment was.
The manage link
The Manage booking link opens a page for your booking. You do not need to sign in. On this page you can:
- see the service, the time and the status;
- see until when you can cancel or move for free;
- cancel or move the appointment;
- decline a new time that the studio proposed.
The page never shows your name, e-mail address, phone number or address.
The link is valid for 60 days after the e-mail. After you move an appointment, the next reminder brings a new link. For your safety, the page allows a limited number of actions per hour.

Stop reminder e-mails
Each reminder e-mail has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. If you unsubscribe, you stop getting reminders and review invitations from all studios on pbw.life. You still get confirmations, cancellations, deposit e-mails and codes. You cannot subscribe again yourself.
