Frequently asked questions
Can I ask for a higher deposit on bridal bookings?
Your deposit policy works with a percentage or a fixed amount per booking. With a higher treatment price, such as bridal makeup, a percentage deposit automatically grows with it.
What if the wedding is moved?
Rescheduling is simply a new date in your calendar, and the deposit stays in place. If the client cancels altogether, your cancellation policy decides whether you keep the deposit.
I sometimes work with a team. Is that possible?
Yes, you can link several specialists to your business, each with their own services and availability. That way you can book a second makeup artist or hairstylist for the same wedding.
What does pbw.life cost?
From €19 per month (Solo Start). If you work with a team, you pick Studio (up to 3 specialists, from €39) or Team (up to 7 specialists, from €59). Mollie charges its own standard fee, currently €0.32 per iDEAL payment (checked 3 October 2026), taken from your Mollie balance.
