Do I need to speak Dutch to use pbw.life?
No. You run your whole business in English while your booking page serves clients in Dutch, English, German, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian or Spanish - each client sees the page in their own language.
Do I need a salon or a fixed address?
No. pbw.life is built for professionals who travel to their clients. You define travel zones and a travel fee per zone; if you also have a home studio, you set the location per service.
Do I need a KvK registration?
To publish your booking page as a Dutch business you provide your KvK and VAT details - the same registration every self-employed professional in the Netherlands needs. Our expat start-up guide walks through getting one in English.
How do deposits work with Dutch clients?
Deposits on appointment-based services are legal and normal in the Netherlands when communicated up front. Your page states the amount and conditions before booking, collects it via iDEAL, and the money goes directly to your own Mollie account.
What does it cost?
Solo Start is €19 per month for a one-person business: booking page, deposits, calendar and client records. Solo Pro (€29) adds reports, per-service deposits, promo codes and client tags. With up to three specialists you pick Studio Start (€39) or Studio Pro (€49). Mollie charges its own standard fee, currently €0.32 per iDEAL payment (checked 3 October 2026), taken from your Mollie balance. pbw.life adds nothing on top.
