Studios and organizers use pbw.life to sell seats for workshops, trainings and other group events. You book a seat on the event page. You do not need an account.
Book a seat
- Open the event page. You find events on pbw.life, in the pbw.life app or through a link from the organizer.
- Choose the number of seats. You can book 1 to 10 seats in one booking.
- Enter your name and e-mail address. A phone number is optional.
- Accept the terms. If the event starts within 14 days, you also confirm that you want the service to start before the 14-day cancellation period ends.
- Click the pay button. It shows the amount you pay now.
You pay through Stripe with one of the payment methods shown at checkout. Your seats are held for 30 minutes while you pay. If you do not pay in that time, the seats are released.
After payment you get an e-mail with a link to your booking. Keep this e-mail: the link is how you manage your booking.
Some events are paid on site. Then the button reserves your seat without a payment, and you pay the organizer at the event.
Full price or deposit
The organizer decides how you pay. Some events ask for the full price. Others ask for a deposit per seat now and the balance later. You can pay the balance online after the event is confirmed and until the event starts. The confirmation e-mail and your booking page show the amount and the button.
The minimum number of participants
Every event has a minimum number of seats and a decision time. The event page shows both.
- Minimum reached: the event is confirmed and you get an e-mail.
- Minimum not reached: the organizer can still decide to run the event in the 24 hours after the decision time. If the organizer runs it, you get a confirmation e-mail. If not, the event is cancelled.
When an event is cancelled below the minimum, you get a full refund to the payment method you used. You get an e-mail with the refund receipt when the refund is done. On your booking page you can ask to be told when the organizer publishes a new date.
If the organizer changes the date or cancels
- New date: you get an e-mail with the old and the new date. You can keep your seat or decline and get a full refund until the event starts. If you do nothing, you keep your seat.
- Cancelled by the organizer: you get an e-mail and a full refund.
Cancel your booking
You can cancel for free until 14 days after you booked, as long as the event has not started. You get a full refund. If you cancel only some of your seats, you get the money for those seats back.
After those 14 days the organizer’s own cancellation policy applies. You find it on the event page.
A seat you reserved to pay on site can be cancelled until the event starts.
Good to know
pbw.life does not send a reminder before the event. Keep the confirmation e-mail and check the date and the address on the event page.
