pbw.life is booking software for beauty professionals. Studios and specialists use it to take appointments online, and clients use it to book them.
Who uses pbw.life
- Studio owners run a studio. They set up the studio profile, services, prices, team, working hours and deposits, and they share a booking page with clients.
- Specialists do the services. A specialist works in one or more studios with one profile. Name, photo and contact details are the same in every studio. Services, prices and working hours are set per studio.
- Clients book appointments. A client can book on a studio’s booking page without an account, or sign in to see all bookings in one place.
- Organizers run group events, such as workshops or trainings, and sell seats to participants.

You use one account for all of them. If you are a studio owner and you also work with clients, you can tick I also work with clients. You then become an active specialist in your own studio at once.
Studios
A studio owner signs up at https://companies.pbw.life/, chooses a plan and starts a 30-day free trial. Some tasks are only in the web portal: creating the studio, publishing it, and choosing or changing a plan. The Business app is for daily work, such as checking the schedule.
Independent specialists
Do you work on your own, for example at your clients’ homes? You can create your own studio at https://masters.pbw.life/. You enter your country and, in the Netherlands, your KvK number. You are an active specialist in that studio at once.
Specialists in a team
A studio owner invites you by e-mail. You accept the invitation at https://masters.pbw.life/ and then manage your working hours, days off and vacation there or in the Masters app.
Clients
Clients book on the studio’s booking page. Depending on the studio, a booking can include a deposit, a travel fee or a discount code. Clients with an account can see and manage their bookings at https://app.pbw.life/ or in the pbw.life app.
Organizers and events
Organizers create events with a minimum and a maximum number of seats. Participants book and pay for a seat online, or pay on site when the organizer chose that. A studio can also run events from its own portal.
