You sign up your studio at https://companies.pbw.life/ and start with a 30-day free trial. You link your payment method at signup with a EUR 0.01 payment, the first plan payment is collected only when the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime.
Sign up
- Go to https://companies.pbw.life/ and create your account.
- Choose a plan: Solo Start, Solo Pro, Studio Start, Studio Pro, Team Start or Team Pro. The Founding plan is only shown when you open the portal with a Founding invitation link.
- Click Start 30-day trial.
- You go to a payment page of Mollie, our payment provider. Pay EUR 0.01 with iDEAL, SEPA or card.
- You return to the portal and set up your studio.
You sign up in the web portal. The Business app has no signup or plan choice.
The EUR 0.01 payment
The EUR 0.01 is a real payment. It confirms your payment method and gives Mollie permission to collect your subscription later. It is not refunded. It is not part of your plan price and it does not appear in your payment history. On your bank statement it shows as “pbw.life - (plan name) subscription - mandate authorisation”.
Your subscription starts only after the EUR 0.01 is paid. If you leave the Mollie page without paying, the plan screen comes back the next time you open the portal.
The 30-day trial
- The trial lasts 30 days from your signup. You can use all features of your plan.
- Your plan is not billed during the trial.
- About 7 days before the trial ends, you get an e-mail with the amount and the date of the first payment.
- On day 31, Mollie collects the first plan payment with the payment method you set up.
- The trial is offered once per account. If you had a subscription before, also a cancelled one, your new subscription is charged from the first day.
Cancel during the trial
Go to Billing in the portal and click Cancel subscription. Your trial then ends at once and no plan payment is collected. You cannot start a second trial.
Set up your studio
After signup the portal asks How do you work?
- Studio: you fill in the studio form with name, description, address, photo and, in the Netherlands, your KvK number.
- Travel to clients: a short setup wizard guides you. In the last step, the option I also work with clients is on by default. You are then an active specialist in your own studio at once. You still add your services and working hours before clients can book.
To publish a studio in the Netherlands you need a KvK number and a BTW-id (VAT number).
Independent specialists
You can also start at https://masters.pbw.life/ and create your own studio there. You enter your country and, in the Netherlands, your KvK number. You are an active specialist in that studio at once. You manage your plan and the studio settings at https://companies.pbw.life/ with the same account.
