Organizers pay pbw.life a platform fee for each paid seat. You can choose between two plans: Free, with no monthly price, and Starter, with a monthly or yearly price and a lower fee per seat.

Currently no VAT is charged (Dutch small-business scheme, KOR). You choose your plan under Plan in the organizer portal at https://organizer.pbw.life/.
Studios that sell events from the studio portal do not choose an organizer plan. The fee follows their appointment plan: on the Pro versions and Founding, seats are paid online at the Starter fee (2%, at least EUR 0.20, at most EUR 4.95); on the Start versions, participants pay on site. Studios cannot buy Starter.
Stripe payment costs
On every plan, the Stripe processing cost is taken from your payout on top of the platform fee.
When the fee is charged
- pbw.life takes the fee when it pays out the money, 48 hours after the event ends.
- The fee uses the plan that is active at that moment, not the plan you had when the seat was booked.
- If you cancel Starter before the payout of an event, the Free fee applies to that payout.
- A fee that was already taken is never calculated again.
- The fee is calculated per seat and then multiplied by the number of seats.
When there is no fee
- events that are cancelled, also when the minimum is not reached
- payments that are refunded
- events that participants pay on site
- balances that participants pay you in cash
- balances that are not paid
When a booking on an event that runs is cancelled and part of the money is not refunded, the fee for one seat applies to the money that is kept.
Paying for Starter
- Starter has no trial.
- You set up your payment method with a payment of EUR 0.01 through Mollie. After that, the plan is charged every month or every year.
- You cannot switch between monthly and yearly while the plan is active. Cancel first, then choose the other billing cycle.
- When you click Cancel Starter, the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- If a renewal payment fails, the plan is no longer active. The Free fee applies to payouts in that time.
A paid plan also lets you record a balance that a participant paid you in cash.
