How exactly does the deposit work?
When a client books via your page, pbw.life automatically requests a deposit via iDEAL. The amount (which you set) lands directly in your Mollie account. If there's a no-show, you keep the deposit. On cancellation, your policy determines whether you refund or retain it. Money flows directly from the client to your IBAN — pbw.life takes nothing.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect immediately: your dashboard locks and your booking page stops taking new bookings. Your data and existing appointments are kept, and you get access back as soon as you resubscribe. If you want to use the rest of your paid period, cancel just before it renews.
Is my Mollie account separate from pbw.life?
Yes. You connect your own Mollie account via Mollie Connect (an OAuth integration). pbw.life processes payments on your behalf through your account — we do not see balances and have no access to your money. You can disconnect at any time from your Mollie dashboard.
What languages does the booking page support?
The client-facing booking page is available in five languages: Dutch, English, German, Polish and Russian. You can store your service names and descriptions in multiple languages — pbw.life automatically shows the visitor's language.
I'm not in the Netherlands — can I still use pbw.life?
Wave 1 focuses on the Dutch market with iDEAL as the payment method. If you're outside the Netherlands but within the EU, you can sign up with a "Phase 2 customer" tag — you'll be first in line when we expand to your market. Drop us a line at info@pbw.life.
Who pays the Mollie transaction fees?
Mollie charges you directly for transaction fees (typically €0.29 per iDEAL payment). pbw.life adds nothing on top. You see the costs in your Mollie dashboard. Factor this in when setting your deposit amount.
When does my founding price end?
Your founding price of €19/month applies for the first 12 months from your sign-up date. After that, your subscription continues at the standard Solo price of €29/month. We'll get in touch before your founding year ends so it never comes as a surprise. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time — the founding year gives you time to see if pbw.life is right for you.
I work mobile but also from my own studio sometimes — does that work?
Yes. pbw.life is built first and foremost for mobile beauty professionals who travel to the client — you don't need a fixed salon or premises of your own to get started. If you also work from your own (home) studio, you set per service whether it takes place at the client's home or at your own location. So pbw.life works whether you're fully mobile or do a mix of both.
